I have been making jewellery on and off since my teenage years – seems like yesterday! I can remember clearly my first visit to a bead shop in London, and here I am, some considerable years later doing what I love for a living. I live and work in the West Midlands where I share my life with Steve and Basil the cat.
Past studies include Business and Finance in Surrey, Design and Display in London and Canada, and a silver smithing course. More recently I completed a diploma working in precious metal clay in Cornwall at the wonderful Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery. This will mean the introduction of silver jewellery to my collection at some point!
In my early working life I worked in a fancy dress hire shop and an Artists and Gilding Suppliers before moving into the retail world for 15 years. I have been seen in many a shop window battling with mannequins and worked as a visual merchandiser, business manager and a design manager.
I have always however, come back to making jewellery and am now lucky to have the opportunity to pursue my dream.
